This report shows analysis of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic and associated response measures on routine childhood immunisation using Australian Immunisation Register data. There was no evidence of substantial impact on vaccination uptake in children at national or state/territory level, for vaccinations due up to July 2020, which is a reflection of consistent messaging from health authorities about maintaining routine immunisations during the pandemic and providing COVID-19 safe vaccination opportunities. 

NCIRS, with the support of the New South Wales (NSW) Ministry of Health and NSW Department of Education, continued surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 transmission in educational settings in school term 3 of the academic year. This report provides an overview of investigation into all COVID-19 cases in NSW, Australia in all primary and high schools and in early childhood education and care services between 4 July 2020 and 25 September 2020.
