Core funding for NCIRS activities is provided by the Australian and New South Wales governments.
Additional funding for specific activities is obtained from other funding bodies such as the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). These bodies have no input into NCIRS publications or to our editorial policies.
NCIRS is affiliated with The University of Sydney Children's Hospital Westmead Clinical School and School of Public Health.
Our stakeholders include our research partners, advisory committees and the broader community of immunisation providers.
NCIRS does not accept any funding from pharmaceutical companies or other for-profit industry sources. NCIRS has a policy governing the interactions of staff members with the pharmaceutical industry.
Governance and infrastructure support is provided to NCIRS by Kids Research, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.
NCIRS operations and research activities are overseen by an Advisory Board and a Scientific Advisory Committee.
