Duncan Campbell-Avenell joined NCIRS as Editor and Content Manager in 2023. He has previously worked in a variety of editorial roles, primarily in the textbook and magazine industries. Duncan specialises in copyediting, proofreading, copywriting and managing publishing projects. He provides editorial guidance for NCIRS print and digital materials.

Jackson Young joined NCIRS in 2021. He has extensive experience working in government-funded health organisations where he has implemented and led a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives in Australia and the United Kingdom. 

Jordie Rangi Teavae-Bishop BIntCom
Senior Media and Communication Officer

Jordie Rangi Teavae-Bishop brings a wealth of communications experience to her new role, having graduated from Macquarie University and started her career in agency with DEC PR. She has developed a strong background in proactive communications, content development, strategy and crisis management. With over five years of experience, she has led many national and regional campaigns across a diverse client set that includes the Sydney Fish Market, Amazon, Coca-Cola Australia, McLaren Automotive, Nature’s Way and Sambucol. Jordie has a passion for building communications with purpose and delivering campaigns that drive real impact with target audiences.

Dylan Maiden joined NCIRS in 2023. He has over 15 years of experience in medical writing, creative direction, and leading the development and implementation of multi-dimensional marketing and communications strategies in collaboration with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, software development, not-for-profit and government stakeholders.

Scott Mair has worked as a graphic and web designer throughout his varied career, which has had a strong focus on communications. He specialises in effective content deployment across the digital landscape.
