Australia has a wide range of good quality large routinely collected population-based health datasets. NCIRS aims to analyse these large datasets related to immunisation, including the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR), to inform National Immunisation Program policy and practice. The potential of linking other health-related and immunisation datasets is being explored to further enhance our capacity for evaluating immunisation programs and informing the national immunisation policy.
