SKAI – Sharing Knowledge About Immunisation is a suite of vaccination communication support tools. The package includes an eLearning module for healthcare workers, accessible information for parents and a website that hosts the system.
The SKAI for Parents website contains information about vaccination that you can trust, including:
information about the vaccinations recommended for your child between birth and 4years
information about the vaccines recommended for your child and the diseases they protect from
answers to five questions parents ask about vaccination
a video with evidence-based information about how you can reduce the pain your baby feels from vaccinations and how to care for your baby in the days after vaccination
a video that describes a typical vaccination consultation
a video that introduces the team of researchers behind SKAI.
