NCIRS Cultural Governance Group - Calling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

We are seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with lived and connected expertise related to cultural knowledge and immunisation to join and contribute to the work of the NCIRS Cultural Governance Group (CGG).

The goal of the NCIRS CGG is to ensure that the needs of Australian First Nations Peoples, stakeholders and the community are addressed.

The CGG is chaired by the National Indigenous Immunisation Coordinator based at NCIRS, Ms Katrina Clark. The group provides advice to the Director of NCIRS and, via NCIRS, to other relevant stakeholders on the development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander immunisation priorities, communication strategies, service delivery, ways to increase vaccination coverage and timeliness, and to identify and eliminate barriers to immunisation.
